but the only sign of that is a stamp on the contents page: it is in
excellent, almost untouched condition.

one stamp on flyleaf. Bound in olive green cloth, with blind impressed
design and gilt lettering on the spine. There is bumping on the top and bottom
of the spine and along part of the bottom back; the gilt lettering is worn
and there is some very slight staining; otherwise the cover is in quite
good condition for its age. There is
some foxing on the endpapers and the pages and three small ink stains on
the bottom edges and one stain on a page margin, but the text is clear and
unmarked. The plates are slightly
