Hello, I’m Anne
Loughran. I run APJ Publications and
the APJ Bookstore.. I’m an who just couldn’t get away from books – not
that I wanted to anyway! |

APJ Publication’s first
publication was ‘The Idea of Community, Social Policy and Self’. A
bibliography of the Gaelic literature of Skye is planned for late 2007. ‘The Idea of Community
…’ is still in print. Our latest
venture is the ‘APJ Magazine’: an occasional online publication The APJ Bookstore
started when my own collection of books was getting too much for my
bookshelves, so I decided to sell some.
This went so well that I started acquiring more stock. For fifteen enjoyable months I had a shop
on eBay, where I had a 100% positive feedback record, before deciding to
strike out on my own when I transferred my shop to the APJ Publications website. When buying stock for
the Bookstore I am not just looking for items which I think will sell: I must
like them too and I would never offer
for sale something which I wouldn’t want to have in my own home. We have a sister site: APJ Collectables, which you are very welcome
to visit. |
